The Master in Christianity and Society provides students with a deeper insight in the interaction between Christianity and society. You learn to critically reflect on Christianity in the public space and the tensions in the dialogue with both (post)modern society and world religions. The focus of the MaCS is on linking theological and religious sources with current social, economic and political issues. Special attention is given to Catholic Social Thought, which deals with issues such as the relation between religion and state, and the contribution of capitalism to justice and happiness. You study the MaCS in an international, informal and personal study environment.
