The Masters of Pathology program is a 4-year postgraduate program with the primary objective of producing a competent service hospital pathologist. This program is implemented in 2 phases : Phase I and Phase II, conducted as open system. Phase I runs for one (1) year which covers 4 major disciplines of pathology : Anatomic Pathology, Haematology, Medical Microbiology and Chemical Pathology. Candidates will undergo teaching and learning in all the modules, ten weeks for each module, at the Department of Pathology, FMHS, UPM. At the end of Phase I, candidates will sit for the Professional Exam I in General Pathology. The candidates must obtained a pass in all the papers before they can proceed to Phase II of the programme.
