The International Criminal Justice and Armed Conflict LLM explores current issues and modern challenges to the law and politics surrounding war and justice, examining the law that applies before, during and after an armed conflict. You will develop a complete overview of the law governing the use of force by states, the law applicable to the conduct of hostilities, and the international criminal justice system. You will also consider the legal and philosophical responses to international criminality. You will be taught by experts in the field, many of whom have practical experience with international organisations such as the International Criminal Court and the Special Court for Sierra Leone.
