The Graduate Program in Comparative Literature is designed for students who are committed to the study of languages and literatures in a context broader than that of a single national literature program and who wish to prepare themselves for professional work in comparative, interdisciplinary, and cultural studies or in the fields of translation and interpreting. A minimum of 33 credit hours is required in all cases, distributed as follows for the M.A. in Comparative Literature.
