The objective of the graduate program in Pharmaceutical Health Services, Outcomes, and Policy is to educate students to perform meaningful independent research and to develop scholarly characteristics preparing them for professional careers in academia, research, government, institutional pharmacy, and industry. The program of study for the M.S. degree must include: 1) at least 3 hours of thesis research, 2) a total of not less than 27 semester hours of graduate courses, excluding thesis research and writing, and 3) at least 12 of the 27 hours must be in courses open only to graduate students.
