The Master of Laws in Health Law program is ideal for lawyers at all stages of their careers who would like to build a specialized foundation in a legal field that intersects with a variety of areas. These include corporate and labor law, criminal law and administrative law. We’ll prepare you for leadership roles in government, pharmaceutical, insurance, nonprofit or health care organizations.
LLM candidates are required to complete 24 credits, at least 18 of which are earned in designated health law courses. Of those 18 credits, 3 are in a required advanced research/thesis course that culminates in the writing of a master's thesis of length and quality suitable for law review publication.
