The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers the Master of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics. Students may select a concentration in Secondary Mathematics or Applied Mathematics and Statistics. All students are required to take Applied Linear Algebra, Combinatorial Optimization, Mathematical Statistics, and Applied Mathematics Capstone; students may choose between Technology for Teaching & Research and Statistical Methods Using SAS as part of the core. The program requires the completion of 30 credit hours in total.
