Brock’s Master of Arts in English offers a research-intensive program that prepares candidates to succeed at the highest levels in the academy and beyond. A rigorous intellectual and professional environment ensures all students have the best graduate experience possible and the widest range of options afterward. Classes begin in September and run until April. Mandatory courses provide valuable foundations in literary and cultural theoretical approaches, advanced research skills, and professional development, while specialist seminars led by faculty experts engage with cutting-edge topics in the field. Following two terms of course work, students complete a research project of their own design by the end of August.
