In the first semester, students take foundation courses in Financial and Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance and IT-Applications. Subsequent mod- ules in the specialist stage enable students to develop a profile which matches their intended profession. As part of a specialization in IFRS Accounting or Managerial Accounting, students can take electives from the syllabi of other Master’s degree programmes and Business Process Management or Inter- national Auditing. The first two semesters also focus on the development of personal and social skills. A research methodology seminar prepares students for their Master’s thesis
