The Master of Science Oral biology is a thesis based program comprised of 36 credit hours of courses, which can be completed in a minimum of five semesters. Faculty embrace an interdisciplinary approach that promotes research training emphasizing integrative methodologies including expertise in molecular, cellular at both in vitro and in vivo levels. The strong connection between the basic sciences and clinical care is emphasized in every course. Teaching the students in this manner allows faculty to engage students and inspire them to discover new scientific findings that improve the clinical sciences and strengthens the need for life-long learning.
