This programme will prepare you for a career as a professional architect.
The Master of Architecture provides students with the opportunity to expand their creative abilities, technical skills, and professional knowledge necessary to become effective and respected architects in Macao and on the world stage.
Communication and Media
The Master of Communication and Media provides students with the tools necessary for academic and commercial research in the field of communication sciences. Technical and practical topics are covered, ranging from audio-visual production to online digital publishing techniques, reflecting upon the entire range of modern platforms from print to social media.
This programme embraces the core values of morality and ethics, which are responsible for human decisions and actions at an individual, communal, societal, and at the global level and it addresses topics dealing with the interrelationship between media, cultures, and different forms of social organisations.
Community Development
This programme trains leaders in developing people and the relational environment for socially sustainable communities.
The Master of Community Development focuses on the identification, allocation, and effective use of neighbourhood resources, such as people, formal and informal social groups and leadership structures, economic and financial conditions, and on the mobilisation of these resources to bring the community to a higher level of development. This programme trains students in the major theoretical and practical approaches to the development of communities.
Counselling and Psychotherapy
This programme trains students in psychological counselling skills from an integrative psychotherapy approach.
The Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy provides students with both the knowledge and skills to become an effective psychological counsellor. The programme presents different perspectives and orientations within the field of counselling as well as mental health assessment fundamentals. Counselling skills from a range of therapeutic areas are explored and opportunities to practice these skills are provided.
Design

The Master of Lusophone and International Public Law is innovative and hands-on, catering to both professional and non-professional legal petitioners. This programme has been co-designed by an experienced international academic team at USJ and the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) and is co-delivered with UCP’s Faculty of Law. Religious Studies
This programme explores the spiritual and religious values in various philosophical and religious traditions.
The Master of Religious Studies teaches research methodologies and approaches to understanding Asian religions. Historical developments and contexts of religions are explored and their practices and beliefs compared. Christianity, as a religion originally from Asia, is set in dialogue with religions from China, India and Japan, as well as the Islamic faith with a view towards deeper mutual understanding and relating.
