16 monthsPrepare to be a responsive, effective advocate for the academic, social, and emotional success of pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students. School counseling students may also take credits toward the advanced certificate in mental health counseling, which can lead to licensure as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC)-saving time and money. Complete the program in two years full-time or in three years on a part-time basis, on campus and in the field, under the supervision of experienced counselors.
