Occupational therapy maximizes health, well-being, and quality of life for all people, populations, and communities through effective solutions that facilitate participation in everyday living (AOTA Vision 2025). The FGCU Master of Science (M.S.) in Occupational Therapy program, accredited by ACOTE*, fosters student creativity and critical thinking to engage in evidence-based and client-centered care through the use of meaningful occupation. We provide many experiential learning opportunities that engage students’ “body, mind, and soul”. We credit our innovative teaching styles (gamification, role-playing, and hands-on learning) with our excellent NBCOT pass rates.
