With a unique focus on urban environmental systems, our program immerses students in the real-world challenges facing New York City and cities around the globe. You’ll work alongside leading faculty on research and scholarly activities across the following areas:
- Environmental systems management, monitoring, sensing, and visualization
- Water security, flood risk management, and conflict resolution
- River water quality modeling and groundwater modeling
- Solid and hazardous waste management and contamination remediation
- Climate change studies
- Decision support systems and GIS applications
